Haywood Habitat for Humanity is now accepting applications for two new homes in our Jonathan Creek subdivision. These small-footprint houses are reserved for families directly impacted by Hurricane Helene, which devastated our community in 2024 and left many families without safe and stable housing.
With these new builds, Habitat is offering more than walls and a roof — we’re providing the foundation for a brighter, stronger future. Selected families will partner with Habitat by completing sweat equity hours and purchasing their homes through affordable mortgage terms designed to foster long-term stability.
Our income eligibility is based on the HUD Area Median Income for Haywood County for 2025.
