Haywood Habitat Participates in the Pigeon River Garden Club’s Annual Scarecrow Trail
Fall is in the air, and the things are getting spooky around here! Haywood Habitat for Humanity is thrilled to be part of the Pigeon River Garden Club’s annual Scarecrow Trail in Canton, NC! This fun fall tradition brings together local organizations, schools, and community groups to create imaginative scarecrows that line the garden path, and downtown Canton for everyone to enjoy.
Our team is designing a Habitat for Humanity–themed scarecrow that celebrates our mission of building homes, community, and hope. It will be displayed alongside other creative and whimsical entries throughout the garden.
The Scarecrow Trail will be open for visitors to enjoy from October 19 through November 2, with opportunities to vote for your favorite scarecrows in several categories—including Scariest, Funniest, and Best Theme/Representation.
We invite everyone to stop by, take a stroll through the garden, and celebrate the creativity and community spirit that make Haywood County such a special place to live. Be sure to look for Haywood Habitat’s scarecrow and cast your vote!
