For the second year, the family of Dinah Mathis has donated new construction equipment to Haywood Habitat in her memory. Dinah's daughter, Sadie Simerly, and dearest friend, Elizabeth Broom, presented the equipment to Habitat construction volunteers and staff on what would've been her 69th birthday, October 12th. "Dinah's career as a nurse certainly demonstrated her love for others, so we are honored to receive this gift in her memory," said Jamye Sheppard, Executive Director. "It will be used to make affordable home ownership possible for many families in the future. That is a truly special kind of impact. "
